Handmade Silver Jewelry

Why are the prices so low?

I aspire to sell my jewelry on a pay-what-you-can model, but I do have to put a price on the listing, so I choose to charge a minimum of the cost of materials, packaging, and shipping. However I’m also transparent about how much time goes into making each piece so that those who can afford to make an additional donation can choose an amount that they find appropriate.

I’m an independent hobbyist, not intending to make a business out of selling jewelry online. My best case scenario is that my hobby can pay for itself, and any profits go to important causes close to my heart.

Do you do custom work?

I have done customs in the past, but I’m not currently accepting these requests.

What is Argentium Silver?

Argentium is a high-quality silver alloy. Sterling silver is 92.5% fine silver and 7.5% copper. The copper gives it hardness. Argentium has a higher percentage of fine silver, typically 94%, with 5% copper and the remaining 1% germanium. This higher fine silver content and the unique properties of the germanium make Argentium a valuable, tarnish-resistant, bright white silver that will last generations.

I use a combination of sterling and Argentium silver in most of my work, depending on the needs of the design.

What if I don’t like the organizations you donate to?

Tough.

What if I do like the organizations you donate to, how can I help?

  1. Buy a couple of pieces as gifts for your friends or loved ones, or yourself!

  2. Consider making an extra donation, or just head over to the donations page and donate directly to the orgs listed—I’ve linked their individual donation pages.

  3. Share my website with a friend who you think would like my jewelry.
